Honda CRF description

2014 HONDA CRF250L, 2014 Honda CRF250L
Motorcycling's New MVP.
With the CRF250L, Honda reintroduces the concept of a 250-class dual-sport motorcycle. This is a machine thats more than ready to take on some serious off-road challenges without giving up street-riding accommodations. The compact and sophisticated liquid-cooled DOHC 249cc single-cylinder four-stroke powerplant produces smooth and consistent torque at low rpm to aid off-road work, yet the short-stroke engine also spins up excellent high-rpm performance for the street. All through the rev range, the CRF250L pumps out a well-balanced and very capable level of power, along with excellent fuel economy. Its off-road-oriented chassis, which includes a long-travel 43mm inverted fork and single-shock Pro-Link rear suspension, makes it equally at home on city streets or country trails. And with styling cues carried over from Hondas legendary CRF motocross bikes, the CRF250L offers the full package, whether the day calls for low-cost transportation, a weekday commute or genuine dual-sport adventure.

The CRF250L is an awesome dual-sport machine that adds off-road capability to its on-road prowess. The CRF250L gives you a great upright seating position thats comfortable for longer rides, perfect for seeing your way through an urban traffic snarl or getting out on the trail. And if your town doesnt have enough money to fix those potholes or pavement patches, the CRF250Ls long-travel suspension is built to handle them no problem.
Sure, the new CRF250L is super practical, offering great fuel economy. But even thats small potatoes compared to how much fun per gallon youll have riding one. The new Honda CRF250L just plain makes sense. When are you going to get yours?

Power To The People!

We equipped the CRF250L with a fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that features an electric starter, double-overhead cams and a counterbalancer. Why? Because when you put it all together, you end up with a bike that delivers consistent rider-friendly power, plenty of mid-range torque and loads of confidence.

Comfortable Seating.

Looking for a nice, comfortable, neutral seating position that isnt too hunched over or too laid back? The CRF250L has you covered. Its a perfect balance that puts you in the right position to see whats going on in traffic, yet comfortable for a long trail ride too! In short, it just plain makes sensejust like the CRF250L!

Less Pain at the Pump.

Sure, the CRF250L is a ton of fun. But heres something that makes it even better: Awesome fuel economy. Maneuverable, narrow, and thrifty. Which means fill-ups are fewer, further between, and a lot less costly.

New dual-purpose, multi-role motorcycle: sharp on the street, fun on the dirt

The essence of what makes a true dual-purpose motorcycle has long been in Honda's DNA. In the late 1970s the XL250S w

Honda CTX1300 Spotted During Film Shoot

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

Last month, we were one of the first to report on these leaked documents listing several upcoming Honda models, including one CTX1300. These images of the Honda CTX1300 were taken during the bike’s promotional filming on a motorcycle that looks to be production-ready. With a body style closely resembling that of the smaller displacement CTX700, the major, and most obvious, difference with the 1300 is the larger, 1261cc engine, believed to be sourced from Honda’s sport-touring stalwart, the ST1300.

NR750 owners should require approval

Mon, 14 Jun 2010

Words can't express the absolute disbelief of this strangely attired guy trying to ride one of the rarest motorcycles every to grace tarmac. But this clip descends in to absurdity when the rider fumbles setting off on the Honda NR750 and drops the oval-pistoned beauty on its side. Did he stall it or is there a disc lock hidden within the pixilated video?

New Honda Fury TV Spot is Scary [Video]

Thu, 28 May 2009

Ok, it’s not THAT new… Somehow it slipped passed me back in April.  I guess I was too busy watching people do wheelies on scooters. The new 2010 Honda Fury TV spot has a lot of quick edits of intense scenes including a shark jumping up at your face and various animals and people screaming at you.  Let’s not forget the dude getting punched in the face and people getting blown around by a tornado. Ya, it’s INTENSE and kind of scary.  You don’t see too much of the bike except for it standing stationary near the end.
