Honda CRF description

2014 HONDA CRF250L, Motorcycling's New MVP. The CRF250L is an awesome dual-sport machine that adds off-road capability to its on-road prowess. The CRF250L gives you a great upright seating position that's comfortable for longer rides, perfect for seeing your way through an urban traffic snarl or getting out on the trail. And if your town doesn't have enough money to fix those potholes or pavement patches, the CRF250L's long-travel suspension is built to handle them no problem. Sure, the new CRF250L is super practical, offering great fuel economy. But even that's small potatoes compared to how much fun per gallon you'll have riding one. The new Honda CRF250L just plain makes sense. When are you going to get yours? Power To The People! We equipped the CRF250L with a fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that features an electric starter, double-overhead cams and a counterbalancer. Why? Because when you put it all together, you end up with a bike that delivers consistent rider-friendly power, plenty of mid-range torque and loads of confidence. Comfortable Seating. Looking for a nice, comfortable, neutral seating position that isn't too hunched over or too laid back? The CRF250L has you covered. It's a perfect balance that puts you in the right position to see what's going on in traffic, yet comfortable for a long trail ride too! In short, it just plain makes sense just like the CRF250L! Less Pain at the Pump. Sure, the CRF250L is a ton of fun. But here's something that makes it even better: Awesome fuel economy. Maneuverable, narrow, and thrifty. Which means fill-ups are fewer, further between, and a lot less costly.

Do you remember Honda's EVO Blade?

Thu, 05 May 2011

I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw Honda's TT100 Evolution Fireblade: at the dinner table, reading MCN as a 16-year old lad and being told to put the paper down and get on with my dinner! I'm sure you appreciate why the lamb chops had to wait.. It was created by Honda to celebrate their 100th TT victory, however I'm pretty sure Honda had another agenda: to homologate it so they could put it up against the mighty new Yamaha R1 at the TT.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

The Taylormade Brough Superior racebike will make its Moto2 racing debut at the British Grand Prix at the U.K.’s Silverstone circuit. Backed by insurance company Bennetts, the one-off entry will feature British Supersport racer Luke Mossey riding the Taylormade Carbon 2 racebike. Led by California-based but British-bred Paul Taylor and John Keogh, the Taylormade project was started to rethink the spark the impending relaunch of the Brough Superior brand as well as to explore new ways of designing prototype race machines.
