Fri, 30 Jul 2010

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions, check out the video after the jump. The GomiCycle – An Electric Motorcycle Conversion from Media Sapien on Vimeo.

Fri, 20 Jul 2012

Motorcycle chases will play a big role in this year's two spy films, with James Bond riding a Honda and now a clip from the upcoming Bourne Legacy shows an action packed chase scene. The Bourne Legacy will follow a similar premise with a rogue CIA agent being hunted down by the agency, it is also the first film in the series not to feature Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, instead handing over the reigns to Avengers Assemble star Jeremy Renner. What's your favourite motorcycle chase on the silver screen?

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
