1969 Honda Cl350 K1 Original-unrestored-low Mileage-outstanding Condition on 2040-motos
Honda CL description
This bike has a history of being loved its entire exsistance, But most of its life it has been stored away in a shed/garage under a cover. I bought her from the second owner who had owned it since 2007. From what I understand the original owner from Missouri bought it new in 1969 and rode it for a year or so and put it away for many years. The second owner bought it off ebay saying he had one when he was a kid and wanted to relive some memories. He got it running and then put it away for 6 years. Along comes me and I buy it. We cleaned the tank, replaced the seat cover, cleaned and rebuilt the carbs, changed the oil and dropped a new battery in it, hit the starter button and she started immediatley. And run she does....like she did 45 years ago. Shifts perfectly. Ready to be a daily rider again. No leaks, no visable rust. She looks like you would expect her to look being stores under a cover most of her life. She still shines up thought, the chrome is 45 years old but still holds a shine although if you look closely you can see some rust freckles. The paint still shines but has scratches and missing paint...likely the result of things falling on it in the garage for all those years. The frame still looks good and has very little rust. Endurance racing and superbike racing have a lot in common. Both types of racing use similar machines and often feature the same riders. Some endurance races, the Daytona 200 perhaps the most notable of them, are included as regular points-scoring rounds in championships that otherwise feature rounds that are a quarter the length.Mon, 21 Mar 2011
What's instore for the 2011 MotoGP season. Anticipation for exciting racing that's more likely to be largely dull, one-horse races. Here are the Visordown predictions for the top three this year: Ben Cope: Stoner Lorenzo Pedrosa James Whitham: Stoner Lorenzo Rossi Niall Mackenzie: Pedrosa Rossi Spies Mark Forsyth: Stoner Spies Lorenzo Robin Goodwin: Stoner Pedrosa Spies Barring Mackenzie and his far-out choices, it's a unaminous Visordown support for Casey Stoner on the Repsol Honda.Thu, 24 Apr 2014
In June, Flagstaff residents Eva Rupert and Josh Remer will be riding vintage 100cc motorcycles across the state of Arizona to raise money for Blood:Water Mission, a Nashville non-profit that builds HIV/AIDS clinics and clean water wells in Africa. Both Josh and Eva are avid motorcyclists and wanted a way to use what they love to make a difference in the world. They see their ride as a more exciting version of a walk-a-thon.
