1969 Honda Cl350 K1 Original-unrestored-low Mileage-outstanding Condition on 2040-motos
Honda CL description
This bike has a history of being loved its entire exsistance, But most of its life it has been stored away in a shed/garage under a cover. I bought her from the second owner who had owned it since 2007. From what I understand the original owner from Missouri bought it new in 1969 and rode it for a year or so and put it away for many years. The second owner bought it off ebay saying he had one when he was a kid and wanted to relive some memories. He got it running and then put it away for 6 years. Along comes me and I buy it. We cleaned the tank, replaced the seat cover, cleaned and rebuilt the carbs, changed the oil and dropped a new battery in it, hit the starter button and she started immediatley. And run she does....like she did 45 years ago. Shifts perfectly. Ready to be a daily rider again. No leaks, no visable rust. She looks like you would expect her to look being stores under a cover most of her life. She still shines up thought, the chrome is 45 years old but still holds a shine although if you look closely you can see some rust freckles. The paint still shines but has scratches and missing paint...likely the result of things falling on it in the garage for all those years. The frame still looks good and has very little rust. There’s only one thing left to say about Jorge Lorenzo’s 124 mph crash during a rainy practice session last Thursday while warming up for the TT Assen: It could have been a lot worse. The images are horrific, but thanks to groundbreaking protective gear, Lorenzo walked away with only a collarbone fracture and a heck of a tale to tell. Today, Alpinestars released a trace graph analysis of Lorenzo’s spill, thanks to data collected from his TechAir airbag suit.Tue, 20 Aug 2013

British site Visordown reports Honda will release an updated version of its NC700 series with a larger engine for 2014. The larger versions will reportedly carry an extra 50cc, pushing its displacement to 720cc from the current 670cc used on the NC700X, NC700S and Integra scooter. But why would Honda introduce a larger engine so soon after introducing its NC line in the 2012 model year?
