Honda CL description
All original Honda 305 Scrambler purchased from the original owner in 1980. Bike has been repainted to Silver. Original owner had painted it Blue. Includes original muffler, owners manual, complete original tool kit in pouch and some spare parts. Bike was moved indoors with gas drained and cylinders fogged 5 years ago. Bike ran well when parked with no mechanical or electrical issues. Gas tank has small sharp dent on left front, otherwise has no dents or rust. Has the original acrylic gas tank emblems, not the cheap steel stampings most bikes have today. Original seat covering still has the gold piping trim. Original chrome fenders (1967 model year only) in great shape. Exhaust in great shape as well and has vintage snuff-or- nots in the pipes. Sounds great. New period correct tires mounted then parked indoors. Will need a new battery, fuel lines and carbs cleaned to run. Buyer responsible for shipping or pick up. Ships to United States only. Fri, 18 Oct 2013Specifications for the 2014 Honda CBR300R have surfaced from CIMAMotor in Chongqing, China, where the new small-displacement sportsbike made its debut. Join the CBR 300 Forum According to the spec sheet, will be powered by a fuel-injected 286cc single-cylinder engine, with a bore of 76mm and 63mm stroke. Based on this, we surmise the engine is indeed based on the CBR250R’s engine which has a similar 76mm bore, but with a 55mm stroke.
