This 2011 Honda CBR1000rr Repsol edition is clean and stock for the most part. 11,100mis. I use it to commute to school and to work a couple times a week. Motorcycle has a 1000cc engine with titanium valves and revised piston rings to minimize oil burn. Other revisions with the 2011 is a stronger crankshaft as compared to the 2008 and 2009 CBR1000rr. It also has Honda's Electronic Steering Damper, and Assisted Slip Clutch technology for smoother and more stable down-shifts and fast cornering. The combination of a light weight engine, responsive throttle, balanced aluminum chassis, and an outstanding power-to-weight ratio is a lot of fun, and all the while feeling very refine and well-constructed. Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
