2008 Honda Cbr 1000, Im selling my 2008 CBR1000RR limited candy red/ silver sport bike. It is in excellent condition and is running perfectly. It is under full warranty until Sept. 2014. Bike has a smoked windshield and a custom licence place/ rear turn signal assembly. I recently injured myself in a motocross accident and have put the bike on a PNO since I am unable to ride at the moment. I'm in no rush to sell. Will be using money as a down payment on a 2014 model when I'm finished recovering. Bike has 8314mi. Clean title in hand. Asking $7,200 cash, will consider reasonable offers. French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

The version ready for the 2008-09 Honda CBR1000RR is claimed to be three pounds lighter than stock and offers a big bump in midrange power. Most importantly to the greenies, however, is that it produces fewer emissions than other performance mufflers.
Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another
Mon, 13 Jan 2014After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.
