Honda CBR description

This is a 2006 CBR600 F4i sportbike like no other in the area!
It is in near-perfect condition with only 14,000 miles on it... that's just 2000 miles a year!

Last week, I went through it top to bottom.
First, it has a brand new professional black-on-black paint job. You can see yourself in the reflection anywhere you stand.

All of the fairings, headlights, rear cowling, and tank were sanded down and brought back to near-mint condition.

Then, I put on two brand-new (zero miles on it) Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires, front and back.
Replaced the windshield with a new smokey-black double-bubble windshield with chrome spike mounts.
The grips are a custom black-and-chrome diamond shape with red-eyed skulls.
Mirrors are shortened with a carbon-fiber cover.
The custom brake lights and LED turn signals are the only indication that this bike is a CBR.
The darker photos show what it looks like when you turn on the white, remote-controlled LED low-glow lights.

While the bike was stripped, I also polished the entire aluminum frame, rims, and anything that wasn't shining already.
Finally, I changed the oil with full-synthetic and a hi-flow filter.

If you look at NADA, you'll see my price is $800 BELOW average retail price on a bike that hasn't had these $1200 in upgrades:

If you're ready to ride today, give me a call or text at Four-two-3- 432-8117.

This bike runs about 80 in second gear (and there are 6 gears), so please bring cash and a helmet if you would like to test-drive it... :)

I can guarantee this bike will run and look amazing when you buy it.  If you don't like it, contact me within 24 hours (before putting any miles on it) and I'll work with you to refund the price of the bike.

I can also deliver the bike for $.45 per mile, within an 800 mile radius of Chattanooga, TN 37421.

Stoner Tops Time Sheets as Honda MotoGP Testing Resumes

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

Missing a day of testing didn’t appear to have a negative effect on Honda riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa. After missing the second day of testing because of a potential engine problem, the Repsol Honda riders were back on the track for Day 3 where they regained the top two spots on the time sheets. Honda held back Stoner and Pedrosa as well as satellite team riders Alvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl yesterday to investigate an engine warning light that lit up on the dash of Pedrosa’s RC213V on Day 1.

2012 Honda NSF250R Race Bike Coming to America

American Honda announced it is bringing the new 2012 HRC NSF250R Moto3-spec race bike to the U.S. Though it was developed primarily for competition in the Moto3 World Championship, the 249cc Honda NSF250R will be legal for some racing classes in the U.S. including in USGPRU and WERA.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
