I have a 2006 CBR1000RR it just had tons of cosmetic upgrades done to it this past summer. New... Bacardi Fairings, windscreen, T-Rex Frame sliders and rear spools, powder coated rims, blade clutch and brake levers, under tail license plate, pig spotter 2 mirrors, and flush mount turn signals. plus a new battery and yoshimura rs-5 slip on put on. This bike was my daily driver for the past few years and runs great oil changes were done every 3000 miles or 3 months (typically the 3 months came first) with mobile 1 synthetic racing. YOU WILL NOT SEE ANOTHER BIKE AS CLEAN, MAINTAINED AND GOOD LOOKING as this bike especially for the price. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
Helmet Law Upheld in Ontario
Tue, 16 Jun 2009A Sikh in Ontario, Canada, has lost his challenge to the $110 ticket he received back in September 2005 for not wearing a helmet while riding his Honda Shadow. Baljinder Badesha, 39, claims the Ontario helmet law is “100 per cent” discrimination no matter what the safety issues are when riding without a helmet. We cannot put anything over the turban, it is against our religion. Mr. Badesha said outside court.
