Frame up rebuild - fresh 1st over top end including cam chain and adjuster. Rebuilt carbs, new rims, tires, spokes, and brakes. All new engine seals - Barnett clutch, new cable, many custom parts - Unit does have 2 small cracks in the windscreen. Only 32 miles on the unit since complete rebuild. Fiberglass GP tank treated for ethanol. Paint on the tank is o.k. but could stand to be professionally painted. This is a beautiful custom café racer in need of a new home. Wed, 28 Jul 2010Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
