Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.

2015 Honda CB300F Gets CARB Approval

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

Back in March, we broke the story of a design patent for a new small-displacement naked Honda based on its CBR300R/CBR250R platform. CARB has certified a new model called the 2015 Honda CB300F along with the CBR300R and its ABS-equipped variant.
