Honda CB description

Up for sale is a nice, all original, low mileage Honda CB750 Four.  It is the K model with the original Honda stamped CB750K pipes.  These pipes are rare and hard to find in this nice of condition with no rust and no dents or dings.  It is black with red and gold stripes.  On the right side top of the gas tank there is a scratch that runs the length of the tank.  The side covers are replacements and do not have the cb750 badging, however I do have one of the original side covers that is cracked, but does have the cb750 badge intact. I will include it with the sale.  The rear tire is brand new and the front tire is in good shape.  The bike has a lot of new parts including the battery, points, condenser and the carburetors were rebuilt with all new diaphrams and gaskets.  The bike runs and rides great.  It is very smooth and the transmission shifts great.  The odometer reads 22k miles, but this was a replacement speedometer because the old one was dented badly.  The original speedometer read only 10k miles.  This is a 35 year old motorcycle with normal wear and tear. The seat has several tears that have been covered up with black gorilla tape and could use recovering.  The chrome is shiny for the most part, but does have some surface rust on it with the most notable being on the fork ears that hold the headlight.  Everything works with the exception of the left turn signal.  It doesn't currently flash.  I believe this to be just a blinker relay. Although it is in great condition, it is not perfect.  Please look at the pictures and ask any questions that you may have.  The mileage may go up slightly if I decide to ride it before the auction ends.  This is a NO RESERVE auction.  Good luck and bid to win.

VFR800F Coming to US as 2014 Honda Interceptor

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

We’ll admit, we weren’t confident Honda would import the VFR800F to these shores when it was first announced at last fall’s EICMA show in Milan. As such, we are pleased to report American Honda is bringing back the V-4 sport-tourer to the U.S. market as the Honda Interceptor.

Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept

Tue, 03 Apr 2012

San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).
