Honda CB description

1971 Honda CB750 built 6/71 titled as a 1972 (bikes were not titled until sold back then) I have clear title in the second owner name from 1985. Complete frame off restoration  in 2006 every inch of this bike was taken apart cleaned, painted and any signs of wear parts were replaced with expensive NOS original parts, over $15,000 in parts and a year of my labor. That price doe not include the purchase price of $4.500, this bike was super clean when I purchased it only had 15,000 miles on it. Just wanted to take it to a perfection level, bike is as perfect as humanly possible. Only issue is some staining in the gas tank, I purchased the tank NOS from a Honda dealer in upstate New York it was sitting in the original box for 35 years at a cost of $750.00. The staining is from the oil they use to coat the inside of the tank to keep it from rusting, it had dried up over the years.  I was going to coat it but the Honda expects told me to leave it alone it was not going to hurt anything. I was told by the last owner this bike is a European version it has an extra switch on the left handle bar for flashing the head light when passing, the headlight switch on the right side  is only for high and low beam and does not shut the light off, like a modern motorcycle. When I completed the restoration I took it for a 37 mile run, it ran great been sitting in my garage with the rest of my collection ever since then. Please call to discuss the bike in further detail Bob 520-743-1996 and I will be more then happy to get better pictures if needed.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Explained in NHTSA Documents

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Earlier this month, we published news about an issue with certain Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators that have been connected to recalls in Canada and Japan from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, with the possibility of it expanding to further models and manufacturers using the same component. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now released documents from American Honda’s recall of ABS-equipped CTX700 and CTX700N that shed some more light into the issue. According to the documentation, a manufacturing error may have resulted in Nissin ABS modulators being contaminated with aluminum chips.

Baker Vs. Marquez In Superprestigio Superfinal – Video

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Marc Marquez is an incredibly talented motorcycle racer, both on asphalt and in the dirt. His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.
