AMA Ice Racing Grand Championship Adds Ice Moto Competition

Editors Troy Siahaan and Tom Roderick got a first-hand taste of ice racing last winter, and we got a real kick out of seeing racers Brad Baker, Jared Mees and Nichole Mees taking Harley-Davidson Street 750s onto ice during the Winter X Games. Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement

Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2013 Results

Harley-Davidson reported a net profit of $271.7 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013, up from the profit of $247.3 million reported in the same period in 2012. For the first half of 2013, Harley-Davidson has recorded $495.9 million in profit, compared to $419.3 million reported in the opening six months last year. “Harley-Davidson again drove strong financial performance in the second quarter, reflecting the many improvements in operations we have made throughout the Company over the past few years as well as our brand strength globally,” says Keith Wandell, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Harley-Davidson, Inc.
