2004 Harley-Davidson VRSCB V-Rod, VRSCB V-Rod - Better keep your good eye on this rabble-rouser. It’s the brand new VRSCB V-Rod motorcycle. One look is about all it takes to tell you this machine inherits the VRSC knack for causing a commotion. But this black sheep gets the stripped-down treatment for even more raw, in-your-face VR attitude. It starts with the same hot rod genetics. 115 hp Revolution engine. Aluminum bodywork. Hydro-formed perimeter frame. Raked fork. But from there, it sheds the shine. With a black frame that surrounds the silver and black powertrain. Of course, the dark theme goes further, with black calipers and brake lines, black hand controls and rear shock springs. The VRSCB model gets finished with a minimalist instrument cluster on an adjustable handlebar. It’s pure VRSC muscle, only more ornery than ever. Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program
Tue, 17 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.
