I am the original owner of this bike. It was purchased new here in Florida. It is in very good condition with no mechanical issues. All oil & filter changes have been done using only synthetic oil. Tires are excellent, battery 1 year old. Bike is basically stock. Added items are HD highway pegs, 3 pouch storage pack at windshield, & a HD windshield that is about 2" lower than stock. Two items added by the dealer at time of purchase are a battery tender & a brake light gizmo that makes the brake light & turn signal lights flash 3 times before staying on when the front, rear, or both brakes are applied. This is a great attention getter for the vehicles behind you. The bike has 22,426 miles as this is posted. Well over half of these are highway miles traveling from Florida to Massachusetts & back. Your choice of any 2 of the 4 helmets pictured will be included with this sale.You are welcome to come & inspect this bike before you buy. You can e-mail questions or call me at 813-431-7570. Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]
Wed, 14 Jul 2010The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family. Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners. Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. A news clip and some Probert highlights after the jump.
EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.
