2013 Ultra Classic Limited. Pretty much a stock bike with extra chrome in the right places. Added oil temp gauge, 2014 air cleaner and intake, shorty antennas, battery tender hookup, newer battery, passenger grip, driver backrest. Has heated grips, good tires, never been down. Fresh synthetic in all three holes. Good tires. Good running bike. Always garaged. No problems and has an extended warranty including tires and wheels, until 2018, so no worries about something going wrong. Just ride. 8779 Miles. Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
