Harley-Davidson Touring description

Welcome.  I have here my 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide.  This is a 1 owner Bike that I bought new.  The original color of this bike was Gloss Black,  when I purchased it I also purchased the Matte Black/Orange tins.  These were swapped out at the Dealership.  The bike has 6384 pampered miles on it.  I have swapped out the original front wheel for a 21" Renegade wheel with an Avon tire. The Stereo has also been swapped out for a Kenwood KDC-X998 Stereo.  The Bike has a total of 6 Speakers (four 6.5 Kickers w/separate tweeters in the fairing and lowers and two 6X9 in the bags) there are two amps for these (one Rockford Fosgate 300W amp in the fairing and 1 1200W amp in one of the bags).  The exhaust is made by Rinehart.  All the chrome on the bike was removed and powder coated flat black (except for push rod tubes).  The headlight was swapped out for an LED unit (VERY Bright).  The bike has never been down and never been ridden in the rain.  Buyer is responsible for shipping (I can assist with the handling)  Serious Bidders ONLY please.

Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
