Selling my pride and joy for a convertible. Truly a well done custom chrome and black '12 Road King. Let me first start off by saying that this bike has never seen rain or bad weather. My wife and I have enjoyed having it, yet have made the decision to utilize a convertible for our travels instead. The Harley has always been under a cover, charging in a heated garage. The scheduled 10K mile maintenance has just been completed this week. This bike needs nothing. Looks and drives like a new bike. It has a 103 motor, custom wheels and tires, stage 1 tuner and true duels. The list of chrome accessories and added parts is too long to list. It has the Boom amp/speaker installed along with a power outlet in the bag. The bike's pipes vance and hines x pipe sound are deep and strong. I am the second owner of this bike, the original owner only had it for 8 months and put only 1700 miles on it. He paid $35k for the bike in 2012. Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show
Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
Music and Motorcycles Exhibit
Wed, 04 Mar 2009The four-day “Music and Motorcycles” exhibit, presented by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHOF), will be on public display at the Lighthouse Harley-Davidson dealership in Huntington Station, NY. The exhibit will feature memorabilia and motorcycles from many inductees from the LIMHOF including, Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Dee Snider, The Ramones, Darryl McDaniel of Run DMC and more. Billy Joel will be supplying several custom bikes, Twisted Sister have agreed to loan one of their motorcycles and a gas tank signed by Jett, Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, Gary U.S.

Designed to replace the OEM fork caps, the machined aluminum adjusters can be installed in well under an hour with basic tools and are available for 39mm and 49mm Sportster and Dyna forks. The adjusters sit tight against the triple tree to avoid handlebar interference and are available in clear or black anodized finish.
