Harley-Davidson Touring description

You are looking at a one off custom airbrushed 2008 streetglide bagger in Lamborghini orange pearl with only 4,700 miles on it. Where do I start? Honestly this thing just has way too much to list but I will try to list most of the things done. The glide has a 103 ci big bore kit put in it (done at Harley), while they had the jugs off they were sent off to have them diamond cut, 21" DNA storm wheel with matching front and rear rotors matching 18" rear wheel with matching rear pulley, Paul Yaffe real steel stretched tank, Bad Dad Rear fender and stretched bags, Dakota Digital Gauges (Stock Gauges included), Roland Sands bars and grips, Full LED lightning that changes colors with a remote, Chrome, yeah lots of it too much of that to list, Super Trap Exhaust with Mikuni Race cores (She SOUNDS HEALTHY), painted Lambo Orange, custom airbrushing by Lil-Toot in Tulsa, the paint is like glass and is flawless all the way around, it has factory ABS along with factory security. The bike has never seen water, always wiped down before and after rides. Always babied and well maintained just had all fluids changed for new owner. I have all manuals, documentation, receipts, both keys and fobs. I'm selling the bike because the bike needs to be ridden and I just don't have the time. It really needs to be shown and win some awards with it. I showed it once and I won best overall. Please feel free to call or txt with any questions you may have.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
