Harley-Davidson Touring description

This bike is in excellent condition. I bought this bike at the beginning of 2016 from an individual and it had 16,800 miles. It was in such great condition and low miles, I was able to purchase a bumper to bumper warranty from HD. The previous owner only put about 300 miles on it for the few years he owned it. It now has 21,073 miles because I actually drove it. Being that I drove it more than it had been driven in years, as you would guess a lot of little things needed to be replaced. All of it was done by HD The woodlands, TX and is in great working order.
The following has been replaced by HD warranty last 4 months. It has New back tire and back brakes, new fuel gauge, new battery, new brake cylinders for front and back, new clutch cable and front brake cable, new starter, oil and transmission gaskets. The transmission has been rebuilt and is perfect now. I really wanted to get my money out of the warranty so I took it in for every little thing.
If you're looking for a bike that is in great condition and dependable, then this is the bike for you.

Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
