Harley-Davidson Touring tech info
Harley-Davidson Touring description
You are bidding on a used 2007 Harley-Davidson FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra Classic. This bike is not perfect cosmetically and has had different colored parts replaced over the years. There are three different colors on the bike which can be seen in the pictures and are explained in the condition description. There are two missing toggle switches on the right handlebar, this is where the cruise control would be. The cruise switch on the dash does work, but there is no way to check the cruise control without the handlebar switches. The stereo does work and the volume can be changed from the handlebar, the channel must be changed on the dash.
The 96ci motor starts, runs, shifts, and rides like fine. There are 35,886 miles on the motor. The whitewall tires are in good shape and have another riding season left on them. This bike is ready to ride but will need some TLC to make it complete. The bike is located in Muskegon, MI at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson. There will be a $200 documentation fee added to the selling price as well as your state's sales tax. The sale will have to be run through the dealership. The winning bidder is responsible for pickup or shipping of the motorcycle. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours. The remainder of the payment is due within 7 days. Please have any financing in order BEFORE bidding on this motorcycle. Please feel free to message or call Josh at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson with any questions. 231-722-0000 joshvoss@hotrodhd.com Thank you and happy bidding! |

Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada
Mon, 30 Apr 2012A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.
Elvis' Harley
Thu, 16 Aug 2012Today (August 16) it's exactly 35 years since Elvis died (or didn't, depending on your beliefs on the matter) so we thought we'd mark the moment with this – Elvis Presley's own 1956 Harley-Davidson. Elvis is so inextricably linked to Harleys that he's even become subject of an endlessly-circulating internet myth. You know, the one where a guy finds an old Harley for a few bucks, starts to restore it and discovers an 'Elvis' inscription under the seat.
