Harley-Davidson Touring description

Considering the sale of what had been my "baby" (before my kids were born - lol)... and for the right price I may let her go.  She's a BEAUTIFUL Black Harley Davidson Ultra Classic that I bought new in 2006.  This motorcycle has only been ridden by myself (46 year old male) and two of the men (in their 60's) who helped build her into what she is.

It has NEVER been in an accident or damaged in any way.  She does have the typical wear & tear of a pre-loved motorcycle but that's IT.  This bike has been METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED AND CARED FOR ~ and it's condition is proven in the photos.

NO expense was spared when this motorcycle was built and all the work performed was done RIGHT by retired Harley Davidson Engineers.  Only the BEST OF THE BEST was done to this bike throughout it's lifetime and EVERY EFFORT WAS MADE TO KEEP IT AS PERFECT AS POSSIBLE IN EVERY WAY!!!

Here are the highlights of this incredible motorcycle:

JIMS 120" Twin Cam Race Engine - "Freshened up" in 2010 (approx 3,000 miles ago) - Cylinder Heads were further race ported & polished, Andrews .625 Lift Camshafts with S & S Gear Drives were put in, Cylinders were honed/cleaned up & new Piston Rings were installed.  Night & day noticeable improvement throughout the entire powerband over the "stock" JIMS setup.

Zipper's ThunderMax EFI Computer with Autotune - This EFI system constantly updates & adjusts itself (air/fuel ratio) allowing the engine to perform at it's peak level at all times regardless of air density/pressure/temperature.  There is NO better EFI system availble than this one.

D & D Boarzilla 2:1 Exhaust System - The absolute BEST exhaust for a large displacement Harley engine BAR NONE.

Baker DD6 Six Speed Transmission

Baker "Plus One" 5 Quart Oil Pan - Installed to reduce oil temperature allowing the engine to run cooler.  Dropped the oil temperature 30+ degrees on average.

Heavy Duty H-D External Oil Cooler

Renegade Wheels w/ Matching Brake Rotors - 21" Front, 18" Rear

Metzeler Tires - Front is like new, Rear has about 70% tread remaining but I have another brand new one that is included.

Klock Werks Front Fender

Klock Werks Black Low Windshield (OEM Windshield included)

H-D Badlander Seat (OEM Seat included)

Full Set of Screamin' Eagle Gauges

Detachable Leather King Tour Pack

The OEM Stereo has been PROFESSIONALLY customized - a 600 WATT Amplifier with 4 High Output Speakers (150 Watts per channel) was installed.  Hands down the BEST stereo I've seen, heard or FELT on a bike yet... & I'm NOT just saying that because it's mine.

Everything works on this motorcycle and it is as reliable as a new 2013/14 that rolls off the showroom floor.  I've been on trips with this bike from Wisconsin to Key West, FL & out to Sturgis, SD for the Black Hills Rally multiple times... & I'd drive it ANYWHERE today.  The ONLY reason I'm offering it for sale is because I simply don't use it enough anymore so it's tough to justify keeping it.

Come to Milwaukee for the 110th Anniversary & ride this bike home - you WON'T be disappointed!!!  No need to worry about getting screwed either... I have a PERFECT 100% Feedback Score & FULLY INTEND TO KEEP IT THAT WAY!!

I have WELL OVER $45,000 invested in this motorcycle... ASKING $27,500 for it now.  I am open to REASONABLE OFFERS but please understand this is NOT a desparation sale and this bike won't be given away.  Serious inquiries only... PLEASE!!

I reserve the right to end this listing early as I have this motorcycle for sale locally as well.  Please respond through eBay or text/call (414) 915-1844 for more information.  Thank you for viewing this listing.

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
