Harley-Davidson Touring description

I bought this motorcycle in 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona.  It had 750 miles on it.  As you can see by the mileage, I didn't have much time to ride.  It now has 2,286 Arizona miles on it.

I recently moved to Arlington, Virginia and have no room, and no time to ride.  So here it is, I added over $4,000 in extras.  I have all receipts from the dealer.  Here are a few of the extras:

Rinehardt Slip on exhaust
Mustang seat/Harley removable backrest
Chrome luggage rack
New FLH wide handlebar
Smoked wind deflector
Passenger hand rail
Chrome headlight
High flow air filter
Screamin Eagle EFI Race Tuner
Rear run brake control. (Brake light flashes times when brake is applied)
Factory alarm with audible SIREN added/ 2 Remotes!
Harley cover
BRAND NEW HARLEY BATTERY

I will throw in my Battery tender trickle charger.

Too much chrome to list here.  I can't describe how clean this bike is.  Always garage kept, and never abused.  All service performed at Harley dealer.  Feel free to email me any questions.  The bike is for sale locally in Arlington, Virginia.  I reserve the right to end the auction early if it is sold.

I require a $500 deposit within 48 hours of the end of the sale.

I will assist with shipping.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  I had the bike shipped here from Arizona.

Bidders with more than 2 negative reviews in the past 6 months should contact me before bidding.

Actor and Avid Rider, Lorenzo Lamas, to Lead Charity Ride for Abused Children

Thu, 08 Mar 2012

Lorenzo Lamas, the heartthrob who played ex-cop Reno Raines, a chopper/cruiser-riding beefcake sporting a flowing mane (that most women wished they had), out for justice in the ’90s TV drama, Renegade, is a real life motorcyclist, and will lead a charity ride on June 3 as the grand marshal for Child Abuse Awareness. Slated to join Lamas are actors/riders from Sons of Anarchy, Southland and American Ninja, as well as law enforcement and the general public, on the ride that will depart from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, Calif., and end at the Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. Here’s the full set of details on the ride from the press release: LOS ANGELES, CA – March 8, 2012 – Organizers have announced that the much anticipated ’Ride to the Dunes’ for Child Abuse Awareness, led by Grand Marshal, Lorenzo Lamas, scheduled forSunday June 3, 2012 will begin with a beautiful ride from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, 4141 Lincoln Blvd., Marina Del Rey, CA to the serene Newport Dunes Resort, Newport Beach, CA.

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
