Harley-Davidson Touring description

Clean, and Nice 100th anniversary electra glide standard. This bike is changed up to look like a street glide.

Wheels came off a 2007 street glide, tail light and blinkers like a street glide, smoked lens on front and rear blinkers, driving lights. 

95 CI motor, Rinehart true duals, K & N filter. Brembo front brakes with steel braided lines. Lifetime cleanable oil filter, new rear tire, with 80 percent tread on front tire.

New rear brakes, new battery 5-2013, cam chains and tensioners changed out to gear drive with new cams at 35 K miles. New klock flare windshield.

Bike comes with three seats, a street glide seat, an ultra glide one and a road king one.  Comes with a detachable rear luggage rack and detachable back rest.

New in 2012, Sony marine AM FM CD w/ USB port under the seat,  Hawg wired speakers and amp for better sound and more volume. 

This bike is ready to ride with no known problems, just had the rear tire put on, the brakes replaced and had the whole thing checked over less than 250 miles ago.

Bike is for sale locally and still being ridden so mileage will vary slightly and auction may end early.

Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program

Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.

Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.
