All gauges and lights work perfect. -Paint is all original -Factory quick detach Tour Pack included -Runs great -Matching frame and engine #'s -I am the second owner of this piece of American history. 1 of 2,029 built for the 1982 model year. Was built in October of 1981, just 3 months after HD bought themselves back from AMF. - 2 new tires/new battery/new CV carb(5k miles ago) Bike was safety checked at local HD shop 5k miles ago, and have had 0 issues -Paucho fishtail mufflers. “The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday
Mon, 18 Aug 2014The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.
Best Western Holds Photo Contest for Motorcyclists
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Best Western is holding a new contest for motorcyclists to celebrate its 65th anniversary and the launch of its three types of hotels. The Best Western Ride Rewards Photo Contest is open to motorcycle riders and runs until July 15. To enter, riders must submit photos of their motorcycles in front of a Best Western sign from the chain’s 2,200 North American locations to the Best Western Facebook page.
New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
