Harley-Davidson Touring description

Up for sale is my Hand Built 1973 Shovelhead  Harley Davidson Trike, I custom built this Trike myself it is One of a Kind! I restored and custom built cars and motorcycles for more than 40 years! This was my last project or build, I built  this trike because Doctor's told me I had a very rare Brain Disease called [ Multiple Systems Atrophy ] or [ M.S.A. ] for short. You can Google MSA and read about it if you want. I can tell you this, There is no Cure and no Treatment as of now, and it's Fatal! I started having balance problems walking, I started falling down and knew it would not be long before i could not balance myself and would loose the ability to ride a motorcycle. That's why i built the Trike, so i might be able to keep in the Wind! The frame is 1976 HD Swingarm stock frame. The Rear is from a 1950's Harley Davidson servicar. As you can see in the pictures, I mounted Dual- Disk brake rotors and calipers on the rear for Super Stopping Power!! The Front End is a  Harley Davidson  Wide Glide with 3" inch over stock tubes with a 21" inch spoked wheel with an Avon tire and Dual-Disk brake rotors and calipers for even more Super Stopping Power!! for this Beast!! of a Trike! The Transmission is a stock Harley Davidson 4 Speed that i went through and put all new synchronizers in the 4 speed shifts like new. The motor was completely rebuilt new bottom end, new rods, bearings, flywheels, Keith Black pistons, new cylinders, new heads completely rebuilt everything new! New clutches wet or dry this setup is dry. The title is clear and real not reconstructed! The paint is 1969 Chevy Hugger Orange with hand painted Pinstripe and Indian Feather's on the Tank's done by Famed Artist, ( Dave Wyeth ) I also made a pair of rear fenders and a bracket to mount them but my disease progressed and i was unable to finish them, the pictures are of them.

Harley-Davidson’s New Tattoo Inspired Clothing Line

Thu, 10 Sep 2009

Not everyone can pull off a tattoo, I know I can’t.  Or maybe I’m just too scared to ink up my entire arm for the rest of my life, sporting a faded and stretched color blotch when I’m 75 with my grand kids trying to guess what it once was. Well Harley-Davidson has a solution for me (and maybe you!) Fake it! Harley-Davidson’s new clothing line has been designed by “Tattoo Masters” to give you that authentic tattoo look, but on a shirt.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
