Beautiful 1966 Harley-Davidson FLH Police Special Electra-Glide
motorcycle in excellent condition. Rides and shifts great. Has new
Progressive shocks, new generator/voltage regulator combination, new
S&S super carburetor, new plugs and plug wires, new coil, new Dunlap
tires with only 8 miles on them. New Paughco exhaust system. The
primary chain was replaced with belt drive system, new brake shoes and
master cylinder. All fluids changed with Amsoil synthetic. LRD lights in
the rear and new bright halogen bulb in the headlight. New parts and
chrome over the bike. Previous owner claims the top end was rebuilt
around 3,500 miles ago. Various receipts from what he did and what I did
will be included along with owners manual and original repair manual.
The only flaw is the electric starter will not engage but kicks over and
starts pretty easy. New starter relay installed and faint clicking can
be heard but wont engage the starter motor for some reason. Seems like
easy fix or adjustment but I will leave that up to the new owner. Also
has a new battery and tender connection so that is not the problem.

2011 Indy Mile Cancelled
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.

Rare Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Memorabilia Up for Auction
Tue, 24 Jun 2014More than 500 rare Harley-Davidson motorcycles and collector’s items will be hitting the auction block on June 28. The items belong to Ron Shreffler, former owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership in Manteno, Ill. The retired Shreffler once had plans to open a Harley-Davidson museum but has now decided to auction off his collection gathered from 48 years in the industry.
