Motor has polished cases/covers, chrome allen bolts, 425 lift cams, S & S Super E carb, Daytona Twin Tech single fire ignition, powder-coated heads/cylinders, new generator, o-ring chain, and much more. Steel chrome wheels with stainless spokes, all new bearings and races, tank and fenders are new, gloss black with clear coat, MATCHING MOTOR & FRAME numbers. Frame is blasted and powdercoated, XLCR swingarm modified for disc brake and shock location, 39mm HD/Storz forks, Progressive rear shocks, Lapera naugahyde solo saddle, Performance Machine calipers and hand controls, more. No speedo but rode @ 2k miles to break it in righteously. It is needing nothing, has best of everything along with new Klotz full synthetic 60w oil. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
