New Harley-Davidson Book Ties Together The Company’s Past

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson. Entitled,  Harley-Davidson: A History of the World’s Most Famous Motorcycle, the book ties together the mechanical evolution of the Harley engines, the social history of Harley and the beautiful visuals associated with Harleys in design, advertising, artful photography and collectibles. Harley-Davidson are words that evoke the open American road and the “Made in America” tradition like no others.

Harley-Davidson Street 750 Featured in New Captain America Film

The new Harley-Davidson Street 750 was only just revealed last week at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, but many of you may have already seen the new motorcycle even earlier and not have realized it. Harley-Davidson announced the new Street 750 will appear in Marvel Comics’ movie “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” set to hit theaters April 4, 2014. Harley-Davidson Opens Latin America Office in Miami

Harley-Davidson opened a new regional headquarters in Miami, Fla., to house the company’s Latin America operations. The new Harley-Davidson Latin America headquarters supports the Motor Company’s subsidiaries in Brazil, Mexico and other countries in Central and South America. Harley-Davidson projects international sales to exceed 40% of the company’s revenue by 2014 with the Latin America office a prime area of growth.
