For sale is my 2001 Harley Sportster XL 1200. This is a factory 1200, not a lesser modified version. This bike features Harley factory special custom order Jade Sunglow paint, custom exhaust, just installed new front and rear brake pads, and new spedo sensor cable. Lots of Harley upgrades, too many to list.The bike is in terrific condition, mechanically and cosmetically. Needs nothing but a rider. Garage kept. Price is firm, no offers, no trades. 2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.

Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson

Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says  Jeffrey I.
