1996 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 CUSTOM, 96 Sportster 1200 XL custom. The odometer reads 29K but the bike has been professionally gone through and has had a lot of work done to it. It has a screaming eagle carb kit on it, a performance one clutch. It also has a Dyna wide glide front end with a 3 degree rake on the triple trees, forward controls, Vance & Hines Straightshots pipes and a RevTech cyclone front wheel. Also come with a Cycleshell cover. I have had the bike sense 2003 and have never had one single issue with it. Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
