1991 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 XLH. Custom tank, pullback T-bars, new 21" front rim, custom mirrors, new battery, new regulator, new head gaskets, iridium spark plugs, nice seat, trimmed rear fender, V&H air filter, Cycle Shack slip on mufflers. A lot has been done - starts immediately, runs like a dream, clutch good, leaks no oil. 7720 mi since complete head to toe rebuild by Harley Master mechanic. Current paint is Plastidip Black. Underneath is original clearcoated bright orange - not my style, but very nice, hence the Plastidip. Only selling to finance a Dyna I could not pass up - otherwise, I'd keep rolling her. Paypal or cash. Will not release title until Paypal has cleared. Willing to trailer nearby if money is acknowledged (I'm not driving it to you to kick tires). Harley-Davidson Discontinuing Road Glide and Other Models for 2014
Mon, 15 Apr 2013A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.
Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.
