1989 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200, Stretched swing arm. Stretched tank. Front end has been raked. No visible welds. Lowered by 2 Paint is Candy Apple red with ghosted checked flags by Mathew Willoughby. The oil tank is not chrome on the bike now. It is painted candy apple. Also the velocity stack is not on it. Stack was only on it for a show. It has a k&n filter on it that is just like Harley's heavy breather air cleaner set up. To many things to list. Here is a list of some of the things done to the motor. 10:1 Wiesco pistons. Crane Cams. Dyna ignition. Buell Thunderstorm heads. Bassani pipes. 45mm Mikuni Carb. Sturgis Buffalo Chip Student Build Challenge Will Use 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide

The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
Harley-Davidson Offers “Steel Toe Tour” of York Factory
Thu, 23 Feb 2012Harley-Davidson is adding a new factory tour program offering visitors a personal look at the company’s York production facility. For years, the M has been offering free factory tours of its operations in York, Pa., Kansas City, Mo., Tomahawk, Wis., and Menomonee Falls, Wis., facilities. In 2009, Harley-Davidson introduced a premium tour that takes guests into “employee-only” areas called the “Steel Toe Tour” at its Menomonee Falls location.
