Harley-Davidson Sportster description

I'm selling a one of a kind custom Harley Davidson bobber. I have refurbished this bike myself,  all the custom fabrication was designed and built by me. The paint is a Lexus pearl white (pearl white with green mixed in) the tank and fenders have multicolor flake on them. The air filter cover, gas tank cap, and license plate bracket  is a pearl black with green mixed. Vance and Hines straight pipes, after market bars/directionals, hand controls are upgraded to newer year(for 96-06 Harleys) custom seat pan, and custom side mounted license plate bracket. Mag rims were powder coated black, also cylinder heads too(cylinder heads are also machined diamond cut finish). S&S shorty carburetor, polished heads, screaming eagle CDI unit. New upgraded clutch cables, throttle cables, and brake line. New rear master brake cylinder. This bike is one of a kind there truly isn't another bike that looks like this one, its a new look for an old machine and runs and drives like it was just released from the showroom floor, this bike is an incredible amount of fun to drive and you will not go anywhere without everyone's attention focused on this bike I guarantee it!

Harley-Davidson has revealed a new member to its Dyna family featuring quick change convertibility from touring to cruiser mode. As we expected, the new Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback features hard saddlebags and fork-mounted windshield that can be removed quickly and without tools, allowing it to change from a touring motorcycle to a cruiser, and back again. The Dyna Switchback uses Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam 103 engine, 2-into-1 chrome exhaust, and five-spoke cast aluminum wheels with full fenders.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
