1987 Harley Davidson 883 Evo Sportster custom. New S&S Super "E" shorty carb with brass cover. New custom chrome wide rims front and rear. Slammer lowering kit in front, hard tail struts in rear. Firestone tires with lots of miles left. New stainless brake discs front and rear. New rear caliper. Lots of extras and personal changes hand made by me, too many to mention. Low mini-chump bars. Biltwell riser clamp Maintained with love, runs great, fun as hell to ride, get looks and compliments where ever I go. Dodge City 300 Looking To Celebrate Centennial Anniversary In 2014
Tue, 28 May 2013In 1914 the city of Dodge City, Kansas held a motorcycle race, the Dodge City 300, attracting over 17,000 spectators. By 1921 there were more than 20,000. The race was held on a two-mile dirt oval and was sanctioned by the FAM (Federation of American Motorcyclists).
AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Also known as the Triple 8, the ME888 Marathon Ultra features newly processed compounds, updated structure and an innovative tread pattern, resulting in increased mileage while maintaining stability, handling, traction and safety in wet conditions. “We fine-tuned all the features that made the ME880 such a success, and then focused on significant mileage improvement,” Chris Wall, Metzeler Director of Marketing and Key Accounts, said.
