For Sale is an original 1973 Harley Sportster Chopper XLH 1000 w/ electric start and 5" over front end
This is a NO RESERVE auction Original numbers matching frame w/ 1973 1000cc Ironhead motor. Motor is electric start only. fork seals, chain etc appear in good condition This is a mostly original, 2 owner bike that has been stored in a garage since 1986 Does not run, but motor turns over freely w/ good compression Vin# 3A64016H3 Good example of a classic original ironhead appears to be original paint.( tank paint is bubbled and chipped).inside of the tank is clean, but smells of old gas.single disk front end.will need battery and complete tuneup along with tire and carb rebuilt before driveable.Also needs front brake lever/ master cylinder Front rim is dented and tire needs replaced. Knievel bikes to go on show in Britain
Mon, 15 Nov 2010THE MOTORCYCLES, leathers and personal memorabilia made famous by US stunt legend Evel Knievel are being exhibited on a world tour, with a UK date on the schedule. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.

Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump
Tue, 28 Apr 2009Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history. People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here… Why not motorcycles? Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes. Personally, I think it looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.
