2006 Harley Davidson FLSTI Heritage Softail - Project Bike Frame & Drivetrain Up for sale is a 2006 Harley Davidson FLSTI Heritage Softail - Project Bike Frame & Drivetrain or parts bike that comes with a clean and clear Arizona Title and is sold as pictured. The bike has 15,553 mis on the odometer. The chassis is straight and undamaged (poor paint on the swing arm) and the bike parts are in great shape and have not been crash damaged. The bike came to us as pictured missing parts as pictured. All of the parts pictured are included and these are the only parts that we have for this bike. We will be glad to make shipping arrangements for the bike and parts as we can either set up delivery with our bike transporter if the bike is in their delivery area or crate the bike for shipping by Fedex Freight. Don’t think that Mr. Buffett is lending the American icon the money out of the goodness of his heart, he is receiving a whopping 15 percent on his money, at those rates I can lend Harley some money! Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler

Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.

Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India

Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
