Up for auction is this stunning 2005 Harley Heritage Softail. This is a two owner bike with hardly 10,000 miles on it. The light use is evident in the near perfect condition of the chrome and polished accents. The engine appears flawless, with not the slightest hint of any oil beginning to weep. This bike has always been stored indoors and with its new battery, fires straight away and settles into a classic Harley idle. The fuel injection makes for a smooth, reliable touring bike and the included windscreen and saddlebags add comfort to those longer trips. Also included are a passenger saddle and OEM owners manual. Tue, 04 Aug 2009Ever gone to take your Harley for a spin and thought "You know, I wish this thing had a couple more seats, infact no, I wish it had 10". Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.
Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
Music and Motorcycles Exhibit
Wed, 04 Mar 2009The four-day “Music and Motorcycles” exhibit, presented by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHOF), will be on public display at the Lighthouse Harley-Davidson dealership in Huntington Station, NY. The exhibit will feature memorabilia and motorcycles from many inductees from the LIMHOF including, Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Dee Snider, The Ramones, Darryl McDaniel of Run DMC and more. Billy Joel will be supplying several custom bikes, Twisted Sister have agreed to loan one of their motorcycles and a gas tank signed by Jett, Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, Gary U.S.
