there are a few chips and light scratches on the tank and also the same on the fenders all chips are retouched up.the rear view mirrors have some discoloration on the mirror and the rear spokes show some signs of discoloration but no rust..also there is some normal discoloration on the drag pipes. this was bought new as a springer softail and converted.

the bike is in great shape and runs as good as it looks. the front end is 3.5 inch triple plated chrome. 1.5 in drag bars internal wiring. rear and front fenders are west coast choppers from the year 2000 .A stage 2 kit for the carb. new are the throttle and clutch cables,battery, rebuilt carb,and tiers.a young 8.5 k miles the bike has been garaged all of its life with one owner myself.the color is mustang purple with a light silver speck. samson drag pipes. you could do a lot with this bike it would't not take to much to refine it your way.

AMA Road Racing From Laguna Seca Will Not Be Televised Or Online

AMA Pro Racing has confirmed that round four of the AMA Pro Road Racing series from the FIM Superbike World Championship, Geico Motorcycle U.S. Round at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca will not be available for live broadcast on FansChoice.tv or post-race viewing. AMA Pro Racing engaged in good faith negotiations with the event’s rights holder (Dorna -TS), but, ultimately, was unable to reach an agreement in the best interest of all parties involved.

US Highland Making a Comeback

US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
