1998 Harley-Davidson Softail CUSTOM, 98 Softail Custom $7,200 19,250 miles Just got her out of the shop for regular maintenance and it has just been thoroughly been checked and adjusted from top to bottom with two new tires. The bike has a clean record and has never been down. I don't buy bikes that leak or have had problems, only great bikes drive in my garage, and the bike is serviced regularly at Old Towne Cycle. Just to mention a few things, Custom Native American paint by Andrews with 5-layers of candy apple and silver underlay, Vance and Hines pipes, Mikuni Carburetor (Flat Slide), Crane HI-4 ignition, and High Compression pistons and cam. The bike is beautiful and runs excellent, but I have to sell her for financial reason, for no other. You will not be disappointed and the pictures don't give do the bike justice. Make me an offer and get a fantastic bike with great bones and class. I can provide a copy of t he last service work done. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
