Harley-Davidson Softail description

Selling this super clean 1988 Softail FLST with a clear title. 650 miles on a professionally rebuilt motor bored 40 over with S&S Super E Carb, recently rebuilt front forks and new speedo.  This thing is fast and runs great! Brand new Shinko whitewall tires on 60 spoke chrome wheels, LePera solo seat, aftermarket pipes (not sure what brand) chrome mini apes, chrome light bar, chrome mustache bar with highway pegs, new windshield and chrome switch houses. Billet forward controls, Jay Brake rear brake and master cylinder. Beautiful red custom paint, new interstate battery, chrome sissy bar, and Willy G Derby Cover. This thing is immaculate. I will also throw in an extra La Pera gunfighter seat, extra starter solenoid, a set of foot pegs, a half helmet and anything else I have laying around. This is a steal of a bike. Softail look for a Sportster price. Hate to let this one go, but I need to make room in the garage. Buyer pays all shipping, but Im willing to ship to wherever as long as you line it up. Let me know if you have any questions. Good Luck!

Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.

Michael Jackson in Speed Demon [video]

Fri, 26 Jun 2009

Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not.  We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump.
