As you can see from the large array of photographs displaying its condition in detail we are very proud of this Road Glide. A trained eye will notice that all of the dress up / ad-ons are from Harley Davidson, not the cheap imitations. You can see the foot controls, highway pegs, floor boards (passenger and rider), handle bar grips, shifter arms are all from the HD Streamliner collection. The handle bars have been upgraded to the comfort ride (internal wired), The seat is new and is from Corbin ($1,000 cost). Mechanically the cams have been upgraded to a performance set and a gear drive installed as well as a performance computer re-flash. The exhaust is all brand new (literally replaced within the last month) and is all S&S true duals with their latest mufflers. The paint is near perfect, Chrome lower front forks and the inner panel of the fairing has been custom painted to match the original paint job. Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
