2014 Daytona Bike Week Activities

Shake off the winter doldrums at Daytona Bike Week, one of America’s biggest motorcycling events, running March 7-16. The 73rd running of the Daytona 200 is a big draw, but it’s just one of the events being held through the week. A custom Harley-Davidson Street 750

This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.

Harley-Davidson Discontinuing Road Glide and Other Models for 2014

A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.
