Harley-Davidson Museum Opens Exhibit Commemorating History Of Company’s Anniversary Celebrations

As 2013 marks Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary, this year’s H-D lineup will have a special ode to the occasion, just like past anniversary models. To commemorate this event, the Harley-Davidson Museum is giving visitors a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the design and planning process that supports its legendary anniversary celebrations in its latest exhibit, Designing a Celebration, opening Friday, Jan. 18.

Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped.  Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!  Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player. Harley is giving you a chance to pay your respects and support our military, it doesn’t hurt that they are giving away a Harley-Davidson motorcycle which will be personally delivered by Marisa Miller and a trip to Las Vegas to see UFC 108. Its as easy as 1, 2, 3.  The first step is pick a postcard on the Harley site, make your statement of thanks and submit for all to see.  There are also some cool retro calendars available featuring Marisa Miller but will only be available to active military and veterans starting November 11th, there are posters and postcards available for everyone starting November 1st.
