Harley-Davidson Other description

2010 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200C Custom. Another beautiful, one-owner Sportster here at Haldeman Auto! It's hard to deny the visceral draw of the 1200 Sportster. Any time you put a fuel injected, torque monster motor in a small, nimble chassis you have guaranteed fun! This 1200 turns easily, sounds awesome and has nice extras like a quick release windshield, fork bag, passenger backrest, 2 tone paint, etc. This 1 is adult owned with only 5k miles. Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

Easy Rider 40th Anniversary

Tue, 27 Oct 2009

Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary.  The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
