California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson

Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.

Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not.  We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
