2008 Harley-Davidson FLSTF Softail Fat Boy, FLSTF - WE FATTENED IT UP QUITE A BIT LAST YEAR, AND IT CONTINUES TO ROLL AS THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP OF FUNKY CUSTOM. Its front fender shows off the broad 17-inch front wheel. Its custom skirted back fender sits above a 200-millimeter rear tire. The wheels are solid slabs of cast aluminum, ringed with 0.50-caliber, bullet-sized holes. Everything about this motorcycle commands space on the road. The seat is low and wide. The thick 96-cubic-inch helping of Harley-Davidson V-Twin engine is served up in chrome and black. There’s a shotgun exhaust. The Fat Boy is what it’s always been and more. One big-boned knockout.

Begun in 2008 by the Harley Owners Group as Million Mile Monday and renamed and enlarged in 2012 toHarley-Davidson World Ride, this event simply asks all “friends of Milwaukee” to get on their hogs and ride on June 22–23.

Tue, 23 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $134.0 million dollars over the third quarter of 2012. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway to Raise $76K for Boys & Girls Clubs in World Record Attempt
Thu, 23 May 2013Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) have teamed up to make the 90th Anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week even more historic through an effort to raise over $76,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire and set a new Guinness Worlds Record. Laconia Motorcycle Week attendees and New Hampshire residents will play a key role in this endeavor by purchasing tickets for a Community Appreciation Parade at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on the final Saturday of Bike Week, June 15th. Participants will have the unique opportunity to ride around the New Hampshire Motor Speedway track, continue on a police escorted, scenic 32-mile ride around the Lakes Region, set a new Guinness World Record and most importantly, raise significant funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire.
