The Softail Custom goes wide with a 200mm rear tire on a Polished Slotted Disc Forged Aluminum wheel wrapped by a traditional Bobtail fender. A polished stainless steel ape-hanger handlebar towers over a Fat Bob fuel tank adorned with triple laid custom decals and embossed leather tank strap. A bullet-style headlamp rides over a standard 21-inch Chrome Profile Laced Aluminum front wheel. With chrome details adorning the new powertrain, the only thing the Softail Custom brings from the past is its name. Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches

The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.
H-D Confirms Road Glide Dump

According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.
