The new Twin Cam 96 engine powers this truly stretched-out motorcycle for 2007. The Wide Glide is as long and wide as its name suggests, with a 49mm fork raked out to 36 degrees and a 21-inch Chrome, Laced Steel front wheel. The Bobtail rear fender shows off the 160mm tire. Its 1.25-inch ape-hanger handlebar with internal wiring rise just above a stepped chopper-style seat and large, tank-mounted speedometer. The shocks have forged tops and Chrome, Profile Laced Aluminum wheels are an option. The Wide Glide is offered in eight solid and three two-tone color combinations, plus three two-tone custom color options.

In honor of this, Harley has announced that seven of its standard models will receive special 110th anniversary badging, and have a limited production run. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. H-D and Marvel have had a long relationship, and to unite fans of both brands, Harley-Davidson is seeking candidates to join Captain America as “Agent 1” and star in a brand-new digital franchise, which will introduce a new chapter of action, including a group of characters created by Marvel’s Custom Division exclusively for Harley, and feature the new Harley-Davidson Street 750. The mini-movie and digital comic will debut in Marvel and Harley-Davidson online and social channels this summer.
